 7:30AM

Time and Starting Location : 7:30am at RunnerDude’s Fitness (off New Garden). (Directions)

Note: There are restrooms at RunnerDude’s Fitness

For this special holiday 5K and 10K there will also be printed directions available at the run.

Review Your Route: With all technology, sometimes it doesn’t work, so please review your running route prior to the run so you’ll be familiar with where you’re going in case the app should stop working.

For those of you that need more mileage for your Saturday long run, you can continue north on the greenway to finish out your miles after completing either the 5K or 10K. Below are the turnaround points on the greenway for those extra miles.
1-extra mile: run to the far side Stamey’s parking lot on the greenway then turn around
2 extra miles: run to CVS and back
3 extra miles: run to the far side of Herbie’s Hill and back
4 extra miles: run to about midway behind Southern Foods on greenway and back
5 extra miles: run to the far side of the Military Park parking lot and back
6 extra miles: run to the intersection of Old Battleground and Lake Brandt Rd using the new greenway detour and back
7 extra miles: continue on Lake brandt road instead of dipping down the greenway and turn around at Regents Park Ln
8 extra miles: continue down Lake Brandt Rd instead of dipping down greenway and turn around at Century Oaks Dr.
9 extra miles: continue down Lake Brandt Rd instead of dipping down the greenway and turn around at Gate Post Dr.
10 extra miles: continue down Lake Brant Rd instead of dipping down the greenway, remain on Lake Brandt Rd all the way to the 2nd entrance to Jesse Wharaton Elm school then turn around.
Water Stops: There will be water (and hot chocolate) at RunnerDude’s Fitness after finishing the 5K and 10K and then there will be a cooler in the usual spot on Lake Brandt Rd.at the greenway (all the other RunnerDude coolers will also be in their normal locations)
